god thank you so much for that video. It literally pains me to see people (including women) COMPLETELY misinterpret feminism and then just dismiss it as though it is something to be swept under the rug and shunned. Feminism is not putting down men nor an attempt to elevate women and put them on a pedestal. and it is definitely not meant to degrade women who are interested in feminine things. ughhhh its so frustrating! Unfortunately being overweight now comes with added social anxiety because of societies’ standards. If you like the way you feel after working out/ eating healthy, keep on doing it and focus on your awesome progress! Bump up your confidence or fake it till you make it, then you won’t even have to try to impress people, because they will sense it anyways. Keep lovin yourself.

I don’t think there is any correct way to get a message across/ judge feminists’ practices, and I haven’t quite educated myself on their movement yet. I’ve seen photos and it seems pretty powerful to me - I’ll have to get back to you on that one.
